Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or sign a subscription. By using Origin Plate you confirm that the information you provide (name, address, contact details) is accurate, and that you will keep your account credentials confidential.

• All prices on the menu are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
• Origin Plate reserves the right to update menus, plan prices and delivery fees with prior notice on the website.
• Once placed, orders move into preparation quickly — please review your cart and address before confirming.
• We may decline or cancel an order if a meal is unavailable, the delivery location is out of range, or the payment cannot be verified.

Weekly and monthly plans renew automatically at the end of the billing cycle unless you cancel or pause from your dashboard. You can pause any active subscription for up to 14 consecutive days at a time at no charge.

Event catering and corporate meal contracts are subject to a separate written agreement. Confirmation is required at least 48 hours in advance for events and 5 working days in advance for new corporate contracts.

• We deliver within the service zones listed on the website. If your address falls outside the zone, the order will not be accepted.
• Estimated delivery time is informational — actual delivery may be affected by weather, traffic and demand.
• If no one is available to receive the order, the rider will attempt one re-delivery; subsequent attempts may incur a fee.

We follow FSSAI-certified hygiene practices and clearly mark vegetarian, non-vegetarian, vegan and Jain meals on the menu. Calorie counts and allergens are indicative — if you have severe allergies, please contact support before placing an order.

You agree not to use Origin Plate to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Place fraudulent orders or use stolen payment instruments.
• Abuse, harass or threaten our staff, riders or other users.
• Scrape, copy or republish our content without written permission.

All branding, photography, illustrations, recipes and copy on this site are owned by Origin Plate or its licensors. You may not reproduce them for commercial use without our prior written consent.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Origin Plate's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the order or subscription period in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that harms us, our staff or other users. You can close your account at any time from your dashboard.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
